Kids These Days

It seems that a middle school student is suing his school.  Why you ask?  It seems that one of his fellow students had accused him of being in possession of marijuana.  He was then called down to his vice-principal's office, and infront of the students that had accused him of having marijuana for a strip search.  The whole ordeal had happened on February 8th, 2011.  It seemed that the students watched as the kid, known as D.H., had his books and backpack checked, only to come up empty.  One of the students even admitted to lying about D.H. having marijuana, but the search went on.  Then D.H. was asked to strip down as he begged that this happened in the bathroom for more privacy, but this didn't happen.  After the search, no drugs were found, but it seems that classmates started to call him "Superman" from then on, due to the fact that he was wearing Superman underwear at the time.  In 2009, there was a ruling that a school had no authority to perform a strip search, even when they have a probable cause.
